The guidelines to become 2009 Super Hog

Super Hog

The “Super Hog” program was implemented in 2001 for the purpose of increasing membership participation in monthly Chapter meetings, Service & Safety Seminars and Chapter rides. Your 2008 officers and staff have changed the guidelines for earning Super Hog points to further promote and encourage Chapter participation.

If you would like to receive a Super Hog patch or a 2009 rocker, you need to earn 40 Super Hog points.

Can this goal be accomplished? Yes! The Super Hog program starts each year on 12/01 and runs through 11/30.  All you need to do is print your name legibly on the sign-in sheet in the red “Super Hog” book when you attend an above mentioned function and you earn a point.  Eric Toft will be keeping track of all points this year.  He’ll need your help by signing legibly in the Super Hog book when you participate in an event. The Super Hog spreadsheet will be updated monthly and posted on the Chapter’s website.

Criteria for earning the points from 12/1/08 through 11/30/09 are as follows:

1.  Participating in any calendar Chapter ride noted with an asterisk *… = 1 point
2. Planning & leading a Chapter ride ……………………………………… = 2 points
3. Participating in Chapter overnighters…………………………………… = 2 points
4. Riding in a Drill Team practice………………………………………….…= 1 point
5. Performing one day with the Drill Team………………………………….= 2 points
6. LOH meeting attendance…………………………………………………= 1 point
7. Chapter meeting attendance ..…………………………………………. = 1 point
8. Safety and Service seminars attendance  ….………………………… = 1 point
9. Confidence clinic participation  .…………….…………………………. = 1 point
10. Maximum number of points for extended rides…………………….. = 5 points
(e.g. Milwaukee 105th Anniversary chapter ride)

Only 40 points in the year earns the Super Hog patch

Note:  It is possible to earn two points for one event, e.g. riding a ride and leading a ride

Your 2009 Officers and Staff want you to have fun this year.  One way to do that is to participate in the Chapter rides and activities.  If you would like to be involved with a certain event or ride have a staff member put it on our calendar.  Check the calendars often because they may change as new events are scheduled.  Join in the fun with other Chapter members as we help our Chapter grow.

Thank you,

Remember to always ride safely and have fun while riding smart.
