About our Drill Team

The Florida Gulf Coast drill team is a group of chapter members who enjoy getting the most from their motorcycles as part of the Florida Gulf Coast chapter and Jim’s Harley Davidson of St. Petersburg, Florida.

The team originated in 2000 and was formed by a former retired police officer and member of the Shriner’s club. Team members consist of  Men and Women from all walks of  life who simply love to ride, with the support of staff, spouses and friends.

This group of diverse riders and motorcycles has changed over the years, creating a challenge for our Drill Master, Paul Underberg to create well choreographed performances filled with intricate and precise maneuvers. One can appreciate the discipline it takes to ride in a tight formation with confidence in your fellow team member to execute an entertain awe inspiring routines.

Each member who performs on the team strengthens their riding skills and command of their motorcycle. The Florida Gulf Coast drill team has participated at numerous rallies, parades and charitable events over the years.
